Natural Food Recipe: Oriental Shrimps

This is one of my favorite natural food recipes, and it’s so easy to make! It takes about 20 minutes to make, and it freezes quite well to (even if the shrimps does tend to get a bit tought when reheated, which is why you add them last when you make the dish).

What you need:

Butter or coconut oil to fry in, or to add some extra in case you want more fat
1 onion (or just a half, if you’re sensitive)
1 zucchini
1 yellow, orange or red bell pepper
200 grams of shrimps (make sure they haven’t added any MSG, get them as fresh as possible)
300 grams Créme Fraiche
400 grams chopped tomatoes (preferably from boxes without BPA, or just some you chop yourself)
1 teaspoon curry (or to taste)


This is what you do:

Throw some butter in the pan, chop the onion and let it fry while you chop the zucchini and the pepper. Add those when done chopping.

Add tomatoes and Créme Fraiche, stir well and add the curry. Stir again, and bring to a light boil for about 15 minutes.

Tuck in the shrimps… and enjoy your natural foods meal!

This will be about 2 large dishes of dinner, like the one in the picture,  or 4 little ones. You can also serve salad as a side dish.

If you’re sensitive to dairy, you can try substituting the Créme Fraiche with some thick coconut milk. It will give it a kind of tikka masala flair! 🙂
