Breakdown, Regression and a New Insight

So, I listened to Rose Cole’s newest High Priestess call today, a replay which is only a few days old (I never seem to get to listen to those things live). I highly recommend all of her High Priestess calls, by the way, they are so insanely thought provoking and inspirational. I have them all on my cell phone, so every once in a while I go through them. Perfect for long walks in the woods, I reckon. 🙂

On Taking a Pen Name

Once upon a time where was a blogger.

She blogged freely and wildly, and shared her deepest fears, her wildest rage and her most tender emotions with her readers. She used to think that writing was like breathing to her, that she simply couldn’t do without. That there could be no thinking if she didn’t write. That she would be stuck.

About My Cultural Studies

Some of the things I will be writing about in the near future kinda demands of the reader that she has a basic knowledge about what the hell I’m talking about. So this post is an attempt to provide that, even though I have no idea to organize and explain. But we’ll see how it goes once I start writing!

As you may already know, I’m studying for a Master’s Degree in Cultural Studies. It’s a huge topic, naturally, and it is (alas!) based on philosophy and the history of ideas (I’d personally would really love to see a bit of anthropology, biology and psychology in there as well, but what can you do). And what these studies aim to do, for the most part, is to expose the structures we live by.
